Greg and I will be running as team "Effort Equals Results" as usual.
I spoke with Tony and Jim yesterday and they said we would be running on the new Track 5 configuration.
:yay::ohyes:I'm really looking forward to racing on Track 5!

Are we sure track 5 is "inside" the building?
A couple days ago I noticed kart like tracks on the frozen pond................ :bugeye:

The cool outside air would certainly maximize horsepower!
Yes, but the ice would reduce the amount of traction. :shakehead:
Team "Maximum Compulsory Retribution Agents" :grinyes: will be competing in the Heavy Weight division.
The drivers are:
Rick + diver's belt
Erjon

I wasn't going to make due to being overwhelmed with work, but I can't miss the Track 5's debut.
Tony Valez and I will be racing under a name of Tony's choice.

Come on, we both know each of us would rather race against each other than with each other. :)
Brian Dopp sent an email to me this afternoon and the was the last straw. Work can suffer - Track 5 must be driven.

Looks like this is shaping up to be a pretty good enduro. I look forward to racing against both of you guys.

Martin, I understand you will be driving a GT kart Sunday :bugeye:
In a field of Miata karts.:bugeye:
Congratulations to Dave Harrington and Stefan Sajic for 2nd place Heavyweights! Congratulations to Martin Lenick and Tony Valez for 3rd place Heavyweights!
Congrats to all the Juniors who took 3rd, 2nd, and 1st in the Lightweight division.
Track 5 is definitely a great track. I do miss some of the passing zones of Track 3, but overall I like the variety Track 5 adds.

But the biggest congrats go to Rick and Erjon for their dominating 1st place show of talent. At 200+ lbs they pulled off some of the night's fastest laps - the only faster ones were turned by light weights - very light weights.
Erjon did a few laps on Track 4 after the Enduro (surprised Rick didn't make that race) and impressed us with how much worse we would have been beaten had some things been a little more fair.:bugeye:
Just stirring the poop, Rick & Erjon were amazing.

Thank you, Tony Valez, for putting Team Lazy-Boy on the podium. I couldn't figure out the kart, and couldn't fix a breaking/turn-in reference for Red Bull. Tony was consistant, and consistantly faster than I was.
Indeed, I think we all did a good job on the new configuration. Nice track, Tony Stewart.

I think that Track 5 is going to be a challenge for a long time.
It will be run on a relatively seldom basis, seems to have the greatest potential for widely varying quick lines, and lots of opportunity for quicker and quicker times.
I'm not sure that Rick should continue to miss Track 3's passing opportunities, I think we'll find just as many, or more, on Track 5. The (counter-clockwise) transition from 1 to 2 didn't, at first, seem to be as good a potential for passing as T3, but later into the race I saw many more passes there. It's a completely different setup coming out of the hairpin and setting up your victim around the tower.

Sorry I missed it. I can't wait to try track 5. I tried taking a look on the webcam, but it wasn't working.
I've been working on my secret plan to help me go faster in the karts. So far I've tested it only once, and I beat my previous fast lap on track 1 by .08 seconds. If you ask me nicely I might tell you the secret, but you aren't going to like it.
:hmm:
diet and lose 30lbs?
brake later?
go faster?

You got me... I lost 15 lbs.
Mark, did you see that? :)
