I talked to a guy from there the other day. The membership price will be $25k until they break ground. It will then jump to $35k.

They are setting things up differently than Autobahn. Autobahn has a certain member capacity where it will be "full." This new place will never be full. They said that they will continue taking memberships and just opening more track space for the members on a daily basis as they go.

It will be really nice that they have so many available configurations and can run all tracks backwards.

Hi Reed,

While Autobahn said they would have a cap on members when they launched, that is not the way it is working out in practice.

Mark Basso sent out an e-mail late last year saying they would be adding additional memberships because the track appeared to be under utilized. My guess is that they need to pay for the fancy new clubhouse somehow.

this track is actually going in right down the street from my house.

when i found out i did a little dance, as i can finally justify spending money on a lift.

Peter or any Autobahn members; How do track days work? Are members allowed to bring friends, or does everyone who drives have to be a member? Do they ever let karts on the big track? Just curious.

I am not a member (yet) :) but to answer your questions, yes members are allowed to bring friends to run the track. However, friends of guests are limited to 2 track days per year.

They use to let karts run on the big tracks but not anymore. I heard a rumor that someone was renting the facility with the intention of racing karts on the big track. I'm not sure the ACC management will allow it though. If anything gets confirmed I will make a post on here.

Yeah, I believe that was Bernie trying to put on a USSK race there. But I believe it got canceled.

Hi David,

Phil is correct on all counts.

The cost for a guest driver pass on the big track is $150 per day. The cost of a guest driver pass for the kart track is $75 per day.

They break up the big track sessions into 3 or 4 different "run" groups which attempt to group cars/drivers of similar speed together. You normally will get 5 20-minute sessions in a day for any particular run group. So, as a guest you are basically paying $1.50 per minute to use the track.
