I raced my new Rotax FR125 for the first time. I raced it in Rotax Masters (405lbs). I got to run with Ryan in TAG Masters and that was very fun. Great race Ryan!

The TAG Senior class was thin today, but it was among the best and most exciting races I've participated in. In the final, Dean and I went side by side through turns 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 without touching each other at all.

Where were all the other TAG Senior/Masters guys?

Sorry wanted to get back to racing this weekend. Had to work. Road construction gets in the way for Saturday racing. Wish Concepts raced on Sundays!
Nice job Rick, wish I could have been there.

Jeff, I hope you make it out next weekend. Next weekend is the 30 lap race. Did you get your kart fixed yet?

Thanks Roberto. VKP did a great job on my engine. I didn't touch the needles at all. I ran it the way they gave it to me. I think my EGT were 850. I could probably lean it out a little bit, but I didn't want to take any chances today. I just got the thing back and I didn't want to stick it.

Rick,

Yes, you could run a little bit leaner on the high; around 950-980 looks to be the good spot for my engine. Over 980-1000 does not look to be any faster.

Rick, I plan on going. Unless I have to work. Kart is back together. Went out last Saturday. Ran okay times 48's. Was very loose in the rear. Its hard to practice on a Saturday. Had to lift off throttle for slower traffic. There was allot of people practicing. Didn't get good quality 3 or 4 laps in a row. But it was good to get back out. Took a newbie Tag rider out for his first time. He has a LONG way to go. My friend Andrew is out for good with racing. He is trying to sell his kart. I will be there as much as I can.
Work is going to be hard to pass up on a Saturday. I'm a Union Laborer. Need to work as much as possible. May have to race at Badger on Sundays. I do have 2 weekends off for sure. For Road America and Blackhawk.
Hope to see you all at next race!
