:bugeye:Went and raced at Badger on Sunday since I'm working every Saturday.(no Concepts sorry!) Was a huge field at start of practice. Counted 26 karts I think. A few didn't make first heat. It was quite a show out there with so many karts!:shooting_smilie2: Many crashes by feature I think there was 18 karts lined up on grid.
My rides were mixed with not running the track this year and kart problems. Made it to the finals running about 10th position when a kart passed me but in the process had to scrub out to much and slowed down forcing me to ride up on him. We were locked together and I ended up finishing in last. Oh well!!
The competition is tight up there with the top 10 guys could go anyway. They have a mix of engines there 10 or 12 Leopards, about 10 Soniks, a couple of Rotax and saw at least 1 Motori. The points leader runs a Sonik. My opinion but any of you guys that run Concepts Masters would have a blast and challenge up front with some luck and avoiding the first turn start!!
Hope to see you soon. Will be going to Road America, although its hard to think of how much cash it will cost.:jawdrop::bugeye:

Jeff,

I heard the TaG Masters class at Badger is really good.
Too bad you have to be at least 35 years old to be able to run with them.
2 more years and I will be there. :)

Ya, that sucks Roberto! Its a straight up 35 and over Masters class.
They go to Road America and race Sprint track. They also go to USA International raceway Shawno, to have a Masters Race. I may bring it up and see if the Masters class will come to Concepts next year.Work it out with Andy if possible. Perhaps they will but with Concepts rule as a Heavy Masters!! Will see most of those guys that race are west and north of Badger. Not sure if they would want to go south!
