What kind of tires do you use on the Elise when you track it?
I ended up ordering some Team Dynamics Racing wheels in the same size as OEM. I also ordered Yokohama AVS ES100 tires for the street (which will be on the Team Dynamic wheels). I'm saving the Advan A048s and the stock forged wheels for the track.
Thanks Phil for your advise on what kind of tire to go with! I think I'll move up to Hoosiers R6s after these A048s are corded. :grinyes:

So far we have just run the Advan Neova's that came on it. We didn't know much about the car when we bought it. Apparently it has some sort of "touring" package which means it has skinnier front wheels and tires and a longer lasting compound tire. It also means it has power windows and a bunch of other goofy stuff. We will be purchasing the exige size wheels and putting R compounds on them soon.
On a different note we went and test drove an Exige S yesterday and talked to them about trading our Elise on one. The difference in price is much larger than we thought. So I think the plan with just modifying the car we have is what we will stick with. For 10 grand instead of 35 grand we can make our car outperform an exige S.
I see a ForcedFed 275 hp turbo kit in your future. I went with stock because I don't want to be forced to compete in the unlimited classes in NASA or SCCA. And they say that my car can be made into the CUP 240 relatively easily (except for the rollcage).
