I'm going to miss the first race of the season at CHMS. I'll be at Autobahn getting acquainted with my new kart. Anyone else going to the Audi Car Club 3 day school? You get to run on all the Autobahn tracks (Track 1, 2, and 3).

Why race solo? Why not race Norway? I felt like a puke for abandoning my initial desire to race DD2 and stick with TaG, but I feared DD2 wouldn't hold their own. You were the impetus behind DD2, now you're buggin' out. I hope Phil's gaggle of buddies doesn't do the same.

Peter, Dave, you've already invested in the DD2, but you can always drive my vintage Birel. Or switch to TaG.

I'm not bugging out. I'm just missing one race. I have an opportunity to find and test the limits of my car on all 3 tracks at Autobahn and I feel I have to take it. If I don't learn where the limits are soon, I'm afraid I'll crash it. Plus, this opportunity doesn't happen often unless you're a member Autobahn.

My main "racing effort" is going to still be Rotax DD2. Besides missing the first race due to the 3 Day Autobahn school, I'm going to try to make all the CHMS club races that I can. I need the practice. Obviously, I'm going to miss all the races when I go race with the Master Pro Series (they race on Saturday too). Phil said he's going to try to participate in all the races I attend at CHMS. I do hope that more DD2 and RM1 guys make it out there.

Have you decided what kind of kart you going with? Birel/Leopard?
