Where is everyone all ages all classes. Turn-out has gone down hill! I know some guys have engine problems and injuries. I understand that stuff. PLUS the ECONOMY SUCKS. But this is were local races should still be doing okay. Last week no Senior Tag riders. Whats up with that. Has the Tag heavy hurt Senior? What some guys warned me about. I don't know.
Turn out in every class is hurting! What is your opinion? Should there be a suggestion box to voice your opinion. To say positives or negatives? I don't know and I don't have the answers. Not my business, maybe so. But this is are track where we race. We need to support this track, it is a good thing. The only problem i have is turn 4, it needs a patch. Other than that i think the track and facilities look great!!!! Not trying to step on any toes what so ever with Andy and Les as I am pleased with the track and there help!! Just feel like there might be something else with the turnout problem. Maybe this could be used to get people talking and to see how people think and feel. Thats all! Try to work out any differences if there are any.

Hey Jeff-

No problems in voicing what you think, we'd all like bigger crowds. But I don't see anything that unusual about last week. When school starts, crowds thin some because so many are busier.

We have had 65-70 entries for most of the season, and this last week was just under 60 I think. Not horrible given the time of year. While there were no TAG Sr's, there were 17 Yamaha Sportsman! Talk about a large nail-biting class. Too bad we're not under 12 again to join them, huh?

I think TAG is getting tougher on engines as more people figure out how to be fast with them. More RPM = more problems. I believe there will continue to be more interest in Rotax, and that has proven to be more stable and easier to maintain throughout it's history. Sealed engine and a rev limiter don't hurt. I'm certainly not wanting to do away with TAG but believe that Rotax would be a smaller budget by the end of a season. For this reason, I'm guessing alot of the newer racers will steer that way.

Check out our Spec Racer program as well! $1749 for a complete kart with sealed motor! Friday night racing under the lights! We are running a 5 race series at the end of the season here, and more next year. Expect this to be a major draw for new racers to get into karting. In a couple seasons, many of the saturday racers will be coming from these ranks.

I'd love to hear what you guys think. My family and I are the 'guardians' of the track, but it's here for all of us.
