Are we going to have CIR drivers going to Phoenix?

It's definitely tempting but I wonder if I can drive at that level. Some of those guys at the top of last year's event have been karting for 10 years against Brazilians & Europeans!! :)
We all know how fast Brazilians are eh? :) (Whatever happened to Roger?)
It'd be nice to see CIR and/or ChicagoRacers represented though.

I have already confirmed my entry using Chicago Racers as a team name (look under 2006 entries). Anyone else who wants to sign up as part of the team is welcome.
Peter, do we sign up through you or do we just send in an application and tell them we are on your team?

Hi Rick,
You should be able to sign-up directly with the organizers. You might flag the "Chicago Racers" team name with a reference to the entry of Peter Jankovskis (maybe put an asterick next to the team name on your entry and something like "* see entry of Peter Jankovskis" at the bottom of the page) to make sure they put you in the right spot.

Matt, Stefan, Mirko and I (and oh yes, "Lunchbox") will all be in Phoenix March 27 & 28. The boys are taking a two day class at Bob Bondurant. We will try to check out the indoor facility and hopefully they will let the boys race. We will try to give you a full report on the place.

Vince,
They will be able to race. The track offers arrive and drive all the time just like CIR

We will be waiting for a full report on track and karts condition

I look forward to seeing what you learn about the place as well. In particular, I'd like to know what the track surface is like. The etched concrete at CIR has a very high level of grip compared to some of the other indoor tracks I have raced at.

Vince,
I might be able to swing the Bondurant trip, if I wouldn't intimidate "the boys" too much. :lol2:
Please let me know what you think - post here, or send to martin.lenick@gmail.com
(I'd post my cell number, but I think the IRS is looking for me)

Martin we would be honored to have you with us at Bondurant. Mirko, Mike and I plan to take the one day "mechanic's" course on Monday. I understand we can all race on Tuesday nite (sort of an arrive and drive). We will be arriving in Phoenix on Sunday about 1:30pm so we plan to hit F1 (the indoor track) on Sunday. Let me know if you need more details.

Sefan and Matt want to run, but I don't want to take spots reserved for other CIR racers. Can we just add Stefan and Matt to the team and still leave the other two spots open?

Sure Vince, there should be no problem adding more driver slots to the team as we need them. I look forward to racing with both of them.
