Another probably stupid question, What would you consider to be the minimum temperature you guys would go practicing in? I am itching to go out Sunday before the end of the season, but am also thinking about how hard it el' be to get heat in the tires. Thanks.

I raced in rain in 38 degree temp last year, and same temp in dry weather the next day at USKGP. Brutal on your hands, very cold. Had race suit on and rain suit. Body stayed warm. I used a softer tire then what spec classes have so tires where ok when it was dry. In the rain I had rain tires no problems both days. It will be slick for a few laps tires should heat up. Keep tire pressure up a pound or 2, because build up of heat on tires will not be too much on a cold day.
If you run a Tag in cold and dont have a thermostat, make sure you have tape on radiator and get temp up to 110 degrees before you even go out. Pay attention to temp. Engine can cool very quickly on track with cold air hitting radiator.Use Burris blend oil.
