MRP in Indiana

Hi folks

The folks at MRP in South Bend are organizing an enduro to be run on March 26th...

Teams can be up to 4 drivers - cost is $600 per team. Green flag is supposed to fall at noon.

I am not aware of the details of the race in terms of number of driver changes, qualifying format, etc.

I think they will be using the 9hp rental karts - not the 100cc karts.

This will likely conflict with CIR's enduro. However, a quick team might make it out of there and still make the start of CIR's enduro if they were crazy enough :)

Hi Greg,

I think we could do it if it is a 3-hour. Departing South Bend by 3:30 would probably get us to CIR by 6:00.

I got a call from one of the MRP guys over the weekend about it, I might be able to do it considering Ill already be in South Bend. Also it is the 9hp karts that will be used, ive driven them before and would consider it comparable to the CIR karting expierence.

I knew that if anyone was crazy enough to try the double it'd be Peter :).

I might be in on this one too though :). I've gotta think about doing the double though - might be tough unless Reed can have a kart ready for us to jump in as soon as we get there :)

Here's my vision. Finish the race in South Bend at 3pm. Hopefully pick up some trophies on the way to the car. Jump in and start speeding up to CIR. Explain to the nice police officer why I am speeding and wearing a racing suit to boot :).
