View Full Version : 300 Lap Enduro
I can't believe our team actually won tonight! :clap:We had one newbie, Dennis, on the team and I was actually hoping to get 3rd. Good job Dennis and MotoBob! Drawing kart 6 was definitely a help. The Pro Heavy pool of karts consisted of all the best karts (27, 6, 17, 35, and 39). 17 was moved to Pro Light after qualifying on pole overall. And best of all, I didn't get spun 3 or 4 times! I wish 17 would have stayed in the pool for Pro Heavy so we could have had closer racing overall. Overall, it was a good race. I think the lead changed several times between 3 or 4 teams over the duration of the race.

According to my calculations, which may be off but...
I think we won by about 11 seconds.
We cut time in driver changes and refuels. About 18 seconds over 2nd place.
That may have made the difference!!!
Did you calculate in the red flag?

No...you had about a 7-8 second gap over 2nd when that happened.
Those things happen. I dont think there were many spins etc. in our class I had a quick spin and Dennis had a small hang up. I did not see many bad laps from the other teams either. Pretty clean race. (As clean as it can be with juniors and newbies).

Of course none of the drivers in Pro Heavy would ever intentionally cause contact, bump pass, or spin other drivers.:shakehead::stickpoke::angel::bricks:
But I do agree with your assessment of last night's race. It was unusually contact free. Good job CIR on the blue flags!

It was a Great race
I show we (Team Euro) spent 347.01 seconds for Pit/Fuel Stops to your 388.51 sooooooooo the difference most likely comes down to my sucky driving. That said our "true" heavyweight status (185/190 and 205) might have something to do with it.

I did say my calculations may be off. I was confused by the Fuel/Driver change on the same lap stuff.
As far as weight goes I believe we were Rick now 170?/190/205. I think that race may have come down to the fact that we had a really good kart. Team Euro was definitely the team to beat. We were pretty surprised how things ended.
