KIRL Rumors - Track 5 clockwise?!

KIRL Event 6 will take place on Sunday April 1st.

Pro-Kirl sign in by 4:15pm and Casual-Kirl sign in by 3:30pm.

RUMOR #1... EVENT 6 will take place on Track 5!

RUMOR #2... The PRO-Kirl Super Final will take place on Track 5 in the never used (because it's dangerous) clockwise direction.

RUMOR #3...James Swan who is in 2nd place in the standings will have one shot at dethroning the 2 time KIRL CHAMP and current POINTS LEADER Bill Hartwig. This opportunity to bump Mr. Hartwig will be made possible because of a recent executive decision to award triple points at the final event of the season. A great finish at Event #6 could be equal to 3 previous great finishes!

RUMOR #4...Chicago Indoor Racing is constructing a new facility in the western suburbs and a non-points KIRL event will take place there when it opens.

Please lets get the roster going so we will know if we have to start any earlier.

Please try to be there to sign in no later than 4:15 to give CIR (http://www.chicagoindoorracing.com/) staff time to organize the weight groups.

We will also be running a CASUAL-KIRL if a sufficient number of participants RSVP early (3:30 sign-in).

Please reserve your spot on the PRO or CASUAL-KIRL rosters as quickly as possible.

I plan on racing.

Ken Johnson has again dangled something in front of his group that we did not and are not prepared to offer. We have been very busy lately and have not had an empty evening to configure and test T5 clockwise. We will at some point but it isn't ready yet and won't be in time for KIRL.

It is true that it will be on T5 but only in the counter clockwise direction.
