Well i went to practice at Badger today. Sorry Concept guys. Needed to get a practice day in before racing there. Today was best chance of that happening. Plus getting complete re-build this week.

There must have been close to a 65-80 karts there for practice. Plus about 20 motorcycles. Bad fall, a girl was driving a cycle and dumped it in a turn. She had a compound fracture on shoulder. Not pleasant! Hope she is ok!

They split practice into groups. But there was still a good 30 karts out on last run. Too many, plus slower karts pay no attention on whats behind them. Really have to watch someone crossing into you cause they drive with not much knowledge of whats going on around them.

I dont know, but if if I was on a HPV with a bunch of Tag karts. Common sence says be careful of faster karts coming up. But in todays world, there is no common sence!!!!!:shooting_smilie2:

Still I had runs in high 39's with horrible tires. Im finally changing things on the chassie with some confidence and its helping! I think I can get in 38's where i need to be with new tires.

Sounds like you had a good practice session Jeff! 39's is what Roberto also had. Roberto better watch out for you! It sounds like there's a lot of people that practice/race there. What kind of gearing do you think a Leopard should start with?

I'm a little confused. Badger accommodates motorcycles:confused:. Like the mini-bikes.

Gearing for Badger with a Leopard starts at around 10/80 Rick.

Roberto will be in the 38's, without a problem!! I have alot of work to do to stay consistant and keep making laps close together.

They are not mini-bikes. They are what you see on X-games when they run street course and motocross combined. Kind of a pain in the arse if you ask me as I will always voice my opinion. If you lay the bike down, I have seen some serious scare marks then left in the asphalt. Thus making it bumpy for the karts. Not sure its worth the revenue to the cost of beating up the track!

Rick, I think guys run the 10/80 and not 11/88 cause of the large size back sprocket. At Badger it seems you ride the curbs a little more than usual. Track is technical. Keeping speed through corners is so important there. Leads to more drifting with some riding up on curbs. Or maybe its still my bad driving!:kungfu:

Some turns at Badger you HAVE TO drive over the curbs!
VERY technical track........ if you can drive at Badger you can drive anywhere.

Roberto, I will be there for sure.

If you want to set up camp by each other on race day that would be great.
I dont need help wrenching but if you can give me some advice I would always be willing to listen.

Thanks Jeff
