Yeah had fun today. Nice to get back in the Tag. Rick, you will be missed at indy but dont worry, Jim and I will dring plenty for you. Who else is going Oh wait Jim do you have to drive home after the race or will someone else be driving home?

I'm going to try to go tomorrow. Its scheduled for rain, but so was today :confused:. I checked all the tracks, and the only one that has decent weather for tomorrow is New Castle. :whistle: If only we could get a group together to go...

Does MidState do practices on non race days by appointment like 61kartway? Because they look pretty clear for tomorrow.
UPDATE- We'll have to do the trip anouther day. I really want to try some more tracks. Count on me at Norway tomorrow.

I might be in for Wed. but wont know till tomorrow night. You guys should try Badger for practice if you want somewhere different. New castle is a little far to go for a day of practice. I would be in to go there for a race weekend- one of their club races.

Badger is closed for practice on Mon and Tues.

They open at 10 and close at 7 on weekdays. Weekends 10-6. NO RUNNING of engines there before 10am!
If you go there check ahead of time. They are closed on some weekends too. They are closed for almost a week when they run Road America event as they are ones that always sponsor event.

Heading out on Tuesday 7th for an all day practice/testing session. I'm bringing my grill and will be grilling around lunch time (and probably later too if people are around).
If you are interested in doing that, just bring whatever meat you want to grill :)

Jeff, Im not racing this weekend- going to Chicagoland for the Nascar Truck and IRL races. I am racing Rock Island next weekend in Tag Masters and just want to get a little seat time. Havent been in the Tag since BlackHawk Farms.

I dont even take my tag to Norway anymore Jeff. There is usually 2 or 3 and they are Sr TaG. Not much fun when you weigh 390 + and have to run with the 350 or 360 guys

I have been watching the weather all week too. I was hoping to get the race in Sat night because I have a buddy coming from Cal to race HPV. I dont want his trip to be wasted. So far it looks good, but Friday is a washout as far as traveling to get here. He is in Mich over by Detroit, so its a haul. I just looked and your right. Thur I wouldnt even get out of bed ! Sorry guys. Have fun at the race Ryan. I have never been to that track yet. Probably wont unless my TV goes on the fritz ! LOL

I am going to wait till morning to decide for sure. There was a 70% chance of rain today in Arlington Heights and it only actually rained for a few hours. It ended up being dry for half the day. We'll see what happens.
Jeff, You guys will be fine for Sat. night- dont forget its the classic track.
Chicagoland Speedway is actually an awsome facility. Any seat in the house is good as you can see the whole track.

Definately running full Pro track this week. Classic was only scheduled twice this season, and both are done.

I wish I could go out to practice this week! I'm in Colorado Springs right now (2 inches of snow here!), LA tonight, Seattle, portland, San Fran, Calagary tomorrow night, back Wed. Supposed to be crappy weather from Wed till Friday.

Just drive without it! It makes it more fun since you don't know when it is going to snap over! 20+ laps of that got old really quickly haha.

Interested to see how it will be. I won't have my seat by then so I'll be floating in a big ole seat. And my mychron is acting up, I can't get a rpm reading for the life of me :(

I'll try to not do that hah.
Right now I don't have H20 or my egt hooked up (waiting on some parts), but I'll make sure it is nice and warmed up.
I have a 175 jet in there that should keep me on the rich side (needs to be broken in). I should have more jets coming in soon.
What water temp do you usually run Rick? And where did you put your egt probe (how far from the exhaust port)

I will be at Badger on Wednessday. Need to get some practice on that track. Its my birthday on the 7th!
Norway is a long haul for me now. Badger is only an hour away.

Sweet Arno! My karts ready for Road America, so I wont bring my kart but maybe I will get my dads clone and go out for a bit of hooligan'ing! I will let you know mostly depending on how ready we are for ManCup. And I've got an old thicker ribvest you can borrow to put over your suit so your more snug in the seat.

Jeff, Norway is definitely a haul for you, I would do the same thing. I need to go up to Badger one of these days.
Kyle, as we get closer to Wed I will let you know what time we are planning on being out there and such. Good idea on the ribvest. Going to look around here for some dense foam too. The hip area is fine, it is just the chest area which is really wide, ie an inch on each side for me.
