I would support racing in rain.
How about you?
And why, or why not.

I am all for racing in the rain but you already knew that. Reasons why? Well I think it makes you an overall better driver but the biggest reason is, it levels the playing field for me. Since I have never been able to afford the big HP motors, racing in the rain takes away the advantage of high dollar, high HP motors and it brings it down to chassis setup and driving :4:
Some would argue that it increases the cost of racing because it adds the cost of extra tires and wheels....wow.....most of the guys that argue this point have multiple sets of wheels and usually has several sets of tires in their trailer, so go figure :dunno:
The downside is, the clean up afterwards but if you routinely clean your kart between races, it's no biggie.
If you ever want to head out to Norway for a mid-week wet track practice, let me know. There are a couple of us that would join you in a heartbeat :4:

I'd be up for practicing in the rain.
Racing in it? Sure. Once I've had some practice and know I won't necessarily be a danger out on the track.
Based on my effort two weeks ago in the wet - right now I'd feel like a danger. I'm still learning how to set up for the dry :)
