Gearing for 61 Kartway

Anyone ever race at 61 Kartway in DelMar ,Iowa ? I am being told that they run an 86 gear on the Rotax karts. I can handle the 86 part, but now I am told they are running an 11/86 !!! Thats insane for a 2/3 mile track. I know its winding and uphill/downhill, but thats like 12 teeth different from Norway.

I heard gearing for a Sonik is a 10/87-89. Thought that was different. Must be very tight. Never had to gear anything close to that. Badger i run a 10/83.
The one guy who came on Sunday in Masters, at Route 66 race, I think his name was Al. He runs a Rok TT and runs a 10/89 there in Iowa.
