well, before the problem was they thought we were all too slow for them... since they have jason. That's why they never logged on.
NOW... they're pissed off because their golden boy is only as good as 3rd place :P :P .. so that's why they don't log on.
Actually i don't think they even know about this site. I'm sure the employees would love coming here to talk smack to us LOL. That's where the Shirts are gonna come in handy. It'll get them curious to what it is.

Hello Gentlemen, Nathan here from CIR. Not sure if any of you know me but i've been there since the begining of time.. ... Just thought I should say hello since you dont think we know about this place. I think that the reason why most track staff dont talk here, or even know about it is because we have alot of new staff and they dont want to get fired for saying something stupid here <looks over his shoulder> :dunno:

So much for free speech

I don't think it has anything to do with free speech.
It's business.
An employee of CIR can come on here and bad-mouth CIR all they want. They could also come on here and bad-mouth us and other customers. In fact, they can come on here and say whatever they like. Free speech still exists.
They cannot be jailed and they cannot be stopped.
However, they can be fired. If it were my business, I'd certainly be interested in protecting it's livelyhood using whatever means are appropriate.
Often, what we say has consequences - sometimes good, sometimes bad. This is different than censorship or an attack on free speech.
Why don't the staff at CIR post more? I don't know. I don't think it has to do with free speech though. It may be more of an unwritten rule that the staff has adopted due to one particularly aggressive post (from an anonymous person claiming to be CIR staff) a long time ago that stirred quite a bit of controversy.
Personally, I'd love to see the staff post here more. But I can understand a variety of reasons why they'd choose not to.
