What time are you planning to race? If my back is up to it, I will join you.

I did not make any reservations since track 2 is not open. I rather wait until there is a night where they are both open. :frown:

You guys can't rely on me noticing these threads.
Track 2 is now open from 9-10 and track 1 is closed for that same time period. so you can race on track 1 from 7 or 8 to 9 and then on track 2.
Is it NASCAR night? After my 3 days of track day and absolutely no contact, I feel an urge to punt someone. I'd also like to watch John drive straight into a wall again.

Count me in on this. I would prefer to do 3 on track 1 and 3 on track 2 Any time after 7:30. I may not be near a computer for most of the day. Rick if you call in please put my name down as well.
Thanks,
John
PS You may even see someone hit the wall (very close up)

John was in the Red kart, I was in the Blue kart. John thought it was a good idea to drive into a wall at full throttle. The option of braking did not seem like a more reasonable choice at the time.
Looks like Vic is doing very well lately. :evil_lol: Everyone's in the 14's on T1 consistently. Good job guys!
Wow Vic beat Adam Stopka. That's impressive.

That must have been THE best race I've ever had there. Adam tapped me a few times to let me know he was there. Afterwards we talked about the race and he told me I was driving a pretty good line and only two major problems. I'm braking early at the end of the straight through the first left (ccw track 2) and through the 'S' before the left hand onto the straight. I felt him behind me, which made me stay even more on top of the ball on that race. I had kart 29 on this race, which was a phenomenal kart. It stuck through the whole race. John Oyen ran a 15.09 the previous race in that kart. My best time was 15.30 on track 2 tonight.
On track 1 I was following Gerhard Maier for a bit and he's setting up the turns before the 'Red Bull' with a later turn in, which is getting him a little more speed through that 'Red Bull' twisty. Also, he takes the hairpin so smooth and with much more speed than I can.
Overall definitely can tell all the adjustments I'm making are paying off and I'm noticing exactly where I can pick up more time on both track 1 and track 2.
Tonight was very fun driving with so many good drivers. Gerhard, Adam S, John O, El, Paul - great racing tonight!
I told you guys! It's always better to drive with better drivers. It's the fastest way to improve your skill.

Did not drive 29 last night but 6 was good. 32 was very loose when I started but a slight driving style adjustment fixed it
