Hey Guys-

I'm a dealer for the GoPro's, and they just released info on the new HD version that is coming out. Looks like everything that the original is, just better. Same small size, wide angle lense, same mounts, more waterproof, etc... But up to 1080p resolution!

Delivery is expected to begin on 10/25/09, and I have a chance to pre-order cameras. Price is $299.99.

So, I can make some racers a good deal on a package. Contact me if you are interested.

Andy,

Those are nice! Some places I heard dont want it on Helmet. If you mount to kart isnt there to much vibration for a good picture? If you would put in on kart would it stick to the the plastic bumper(suction cup mount) or use a different mount?
What is best place to put on kart? Radiator doesnt vibrate much, tough place to mount though.

This was going to be on Christmas wish list to one my family members!!!

Hey Jeff-

The camera comes with some really good adhesive mounts that would work on the bodywork, but I like to mount it on the helmet. It goes on with double sided tape, so doesn't change the structure. SFI is okay with having it there, which allowed WKA to say it was okay with it as well. That's good enough for me.

We do have mounts that clamp to bumper tubing, so putting this on the kart is the easy part. Really there isn't much of a hard part... I guess maybe waiting until Christmas!
