I really like the 2010 CES/River Valley Kart Club Schedule for next year.

New tracks will be raced at include Autobahn and Bluegrass Motorsports Park Ky.
Haven't seen any footage of the track(Bluegrass) layout looks great! Would have to think there is some quality elevation changes on this track.

I saw the schedule about a month ago. Just never said anything.
Ryan, next year I want to pick a Series and run it. Not sure if Im going to go Badger Tag Masters and sprint race or race the CES series and a few Sprint races. It depends if the economy turns around and gets me some more work/hours!!! I think this goes for 80% of the racers out there.
As far as Road racing goes, I would like to race more RR events. Its nice to travel with a couple guys to these races. Most of the time I dont RR cause I would be traveling by myself. If something happens, its better if someone is with you.

We can talk about next season at the Halloween race. I am planning right now on the CES series with a few sprints (New Castle Rt 66 and the Robopong). And of course just a few to get the timing for the year. But that will be about it. I plan on having front brakes back on the kart for a few WKA road races also. I want to try RA again

If you want to run CES series next year. Im up for it. I think Dave Larson did a great job with schedule.
Its time to bail on the Sonik! Someone will get a good deal.
Got my friend down to $3k on his Italian Kart SuperSonic chassis with Leopard engine. Might have 2 to 3 hours on kart and engine. New front brakes never installed. So if I get $2500 for my kart, engine, and engine parts i will be happy! Going to empty the trailer and put everything on ekarting and here for sale that i have for kart and engine.
Hopefully at some point next year I can purchase a Rotax. Would be nice to have both.

I may be in as well. With another child on the way CES might work right into my schedule. Dont know that I will be able to attend that many club races at Concepts. After all, my dad was a RVKC member for 7 years back in the mid 80s. Wouldnt mind hooking back up with them.
Of course I will do Rock Island again and the Robopong. Until I turn 35 there isnt much I can do in Tag otherwise unless I lose 40lbs.

The good news is that I am 35 next April......so back to racing in TaG Masters at WKA.

Sounds good Ryan! I know I could race Tag Masters at Badger. And I still will go to some. But I think I want to make all the CES races next year.
Im with you, will go to Rock Island for sure. Might even try Robopong next year to. We might be able to partner up if Rick doesnt come back for that race next year.

I just sent in my RVKC membership. Will try and race for points in the series this year. Anyone want to hitch a ride with me to any of these events let me know. Just have room for one.
Also starting to make plans for the USKGP. That will be a blast! My travel for kart out that way has been taken care of.

Sounds like you're going to have a blast Jeff. Are you racing the Sonik? Are you racing TAG Senior or TAG Masters?

Yes Im racing Sonik. Purchased 2 new cylinder sleeves. Having complete rebuild here shortly. Bought a Sunnen hone for honing out the sleeves and putting new pistons in. Like to stay fresh this year on the top end. Taking kart to get looked at.

A Sonik did win in Tag Senior on the Sprint track this year at Daytona.

I'm playing on doing one or two CES races (work schedule depending but I have a feeling this year might be better).
Right now I am shooting for Blackhawk, and/or Autobahn, since these are close by.
Hopefully I will be driving those on a stock moto... :) Crossing my fingers.

I hope you can make it out Arno. Not sure if my thinking makes sence but I would rather try a shifter for racing on a big track first. Might not be quite as crazy. At the start, just let them go and enjoy at first.

How's the search for a stock moto going? :) Have you bought anything (cases, gearbox, etc) yet?

It's going... I shipped out my leopard today, got fair price for it I think, especially for these current times. So now I am trying to sell my chassis.
I have leads on some full stock honda packages, but I am also still interested with building one myself... I haven't found a nice 99 one yet. There are a lot of 00-02 out there, or really old ones.

Not really. I would go with my friends kart and leopard. A real easy driving of 2 hours on his engine. I hope by August.
Though I have my kart(will have) in like new condition this year. Kart was dropped off today at CKT. Was put on table not much wrong. Was happy about that. Getting powder coated then. Just had my Mycron plus 3 sent out for a little work. Engine will have complete rebuild with new cylinder ass., new header pipe and exhaust pipe, new carb, new clutch and plenty of spares. New starter. Putting all EVO bodywork on. Kart will look completely different. Crazy how much cash though it took to get this all done! Could have the Supersonik with a Leopard now with what it cost to get it all together.
So what do I do try and sell my kart after its fixed and get friends Supersonik? Or run mine ? This sports just keeps sucking money!!! Maybe its TAG!!!

By the way i have my friend down to 3K for Ital Kart Supersonik w/leo. Has new front brakes and spindles never on kart yet. Set up for Sprint racing. Spent close to 9K on it LOL!!! Cant wait to get that!! He never left the track and was super careful with it.
Nice man, sounds like you could have bought a second kart for the price you paid to fix yours up.

I hear ya Rick, trouble is I would have a valueless kart if I didnt go through everything on this one.
Hey I found this on ebay. Always needing metric socket bolts in different sizes and getting ripped off buying at the shops. Great kit! Just bought it.
480 piece set in high strength steel.
