Vicki's co-workers invited us to a wine tasting party. My idea of wine tasting is probably similar to Martin's views on scotch tasting... So I need some recommendations on some shnazzy wines to bring to the party. :drinking:

1. Go to Jewel
2. Find box of wine
3. Pay for box of wine
4. Take box of wine to wine tasting
5. Observe peoples reactions as you pretend it tastes amazing and can't understand why they aren't raving about it.
6. Post pictures and story on www.chicagoracers.com (http://www.chicagoracers.com)

Any questions?

:jawdrop::rofl::rofl:Vicki's bosses will be there too. If it were only her colleagues, I would do it. Either that or bring a bottle of this for everyone:

Showing up with a couple of 40's would be hilarious.

go to Liquor store and look for Plum Wine. Some are Japanese brands and others are Korean. Different and tasty - wine people like 'em.

I just ended up buying a Bordeaux wine. If wine tasting were to be compared to driving. Everyone else knew how to drive with finesse. I, on the other hand, was the equivalent of an illegal street drag racer. I taste my wine 2 glasses at a time. Nothing else matters; not the color; not the consistency; not the "legs"; not the aroma. For those 2 cups, I'm free. I think I won most of the drag races. Not sure how I did on the finesse portion of the competition. My strategy was never to use the spitoon. There's no replacement for displacement!
