I bought a CRG DD2!

Hip Hip Hooray! I just bought a CRG DD2. :D

That makes 2 of us from CIR that have a DD2 kart. :D

There are two guys who live in Naperville with RM1s.

There's also Denis, who always practices with his RM1 at Norway but has never raced yet.

And I think Phil said there are two other guys who just bought RM1s.

Dave Mickelson is thinking about getting an RM1/DD2 as well. :unsure: :blink:

On buying an RM1 or DD2:

If either of you commit, I'll commit, but only if Les agrees to provide a slot for us every race-weekend.

If there's enough of us, it could be its own class. With fewer, we should be able to start with either the shifters or the TaGs.

Congratulations Rick!! As for RM1 owners that plan to race at Norway, these are the guys I know of:

Dennis Dadas, Chicago, rookie, Masters Pro Series (MPS) member, practiced but hasn't raced yet;

Paul Doubet, Peoria, getting back into karting after a long lay off, will be joining and racing with the MPS next year;

Tim and Brian Wiggins, rookies and members of the MPS, both raced 3 or so races with us this year;

Jerry Brown, Winnetka, rookie, MPS member, practiced but hasn't raced yet, he will be there tomorrow to observe and take pics for the web site;

Jack Costella. rookie, practiced but hasn't raced yet;

Chris Fuerer, Chicago, rookie, MPS member, raced the RM1 a couple times. Also owns a 125 ICC shifter.
