Thanks man. But I've decided that I'm switching to Spec Honda (aka Stock Moto).

Good luck with the Rotax man. Hope you like it.

Excellent Rick. Have you started looking for some? Are you going to buy a package or put the thing together yourself?

I haven't decided yet. I'm pricing out everything now. Swedetech wants $5200 for a complete turnkey package (CR125, Carb + pump around, pipe, silencer, plugs, slip to fit).

So far I've priced out parts alone for absolutely everything (including radiator and sprocket gears and stuff like that) to be about $4000.

Most places sell the assembled kit engine with plugs for about $2600-2700. Parts for the same stuff is about $2200. That doesn't include labor for the machine shop to do the slip fit.

My friend who races shifters in California said that he ran his stock moto for 2 seasons without doing a top or bottom end and still on the same chain and sprockets.

Yeah that sounds about right. You are looking for a new set up? I stopped by CKT last week and Jim showed me two brand new hondas that he just put together... wow!
He said that you can order an unassembled kit from Honda of Pocconos for 2 grand, then you have them sent to CKT, he puts them together for about 6 to 800 bucks depending on what you want (A&N fittings, etc..)

I hate not being able to unload my TAG because I want a honda so bad!! I guess I will have to come see you this fall Rick in LA! :)
