Saturday April 21 Race Day

Vic, El, and Paul have expressed interest in checking out outdoor karting at Norway. Martin, Peter, Phil and I will be out there this Saturday. You guys can come and watch Martin kick some ass. :)

Weather looks to be pretty good as of now. Anyone going out before Saturday for practice? I am planning on being there Friday morning.

What time are you guys planning on racing? Depending on time, I might be able to make it.

I think people start getting there around 8am and practice starts at 9am or 10am and then the first races should be at 12pm. The racing last until about 5pm.

Perfect...I think I should be able to make it out therefor most of the day. I want to head out to the notfwd/jgtca meet that day, but that doesn't start until 5:30

Practice actually starts at 8am but like Rick said, most people don't get there until around that time so you usually don't see anyone on the track until approx 8:30am. Open practice goes until around noon then they start practice by class. I believe they have a short break before the drivers meeting which is around 1:30pm then the racing starts...2 heats and a feature. If you guys get there by early afternoon you won'y miss much.

What is the notfwd/jgtca meet and where is it?

I understand ACC is having a racing on Sunday. I got an invite to drive a Formula Mazda there on Sunday so if I go I will stick around and watch some of the racing. Anyone else going to be there? Reed are you racing?

I wish a pro mazda car :grinno: ... but no.... it's a club mazda and yes I am going to do it....IF he doesn't change his mind about going. I really don't like driving other people's cars but I had so much fun in the FF at bondurant I've been looking for an opportunity to drive another purpose built race car especially an open wheel car.

Ok then, that is settled the answer is YES but much louder. This new imsa lites car that we have been tinkering with is based on the new pro mazda. The cost works out to about $15 a mile which makes me want to :puke: just thinking about it. I definitely won't be spending much time in that car! The club mazda's are supposed to be an absolute blast to drive so I hope you get to drive. We all expect a report on how cool it is when you come back.

No...this one belongs to one of my RM1 customers. I believe it's black and white with a red stripe.

Rick I'll be there Saturday. I plan to go to the ACC on Sunday. If Saturday is my only option to drive the FM, I'll skip morning practice at CHMS and just show for the race.
