Airbox filter....Tag

Just wondering for Tag drivers if or how many of you run an air filter in the box? Check out this one from Fastech Racing.

I don't run one in my TAG, but there is something similar to that in Rotax airboxes. It's a foam element. It gets really greasy and oily. You have to clean it a lot. I'm sure it helps to keep crap out of the engine, but it has to be somewhat restrictive.

Yea i have a filter in my airbox on my rotax. i havnt checked it lately so i dont know how greasy and full of shit it gets.

We previously did not run a filter, but we sucked in a small pebble during a break in session a couple of years ago. Needless to say, after a trip back to our engine builder and another fresh top end...... We have run a filter ever since, and have not seen any loss of power. We clean the filter after every track day.
