I drove the track yesterday with my RM1 and 125 Shifter. The track was cold (temp 45 degs) and there was zero rubber on the surface. It had rained the night before but the track was dry except for about 100' 2/3 of the way down the front straight. The track is wide (30') but appears to be narrow through the twisty section because of the layout. The front straight is very wide leading into a decreasing radius, double apex left hander. The second apex is very late and to setup for the fast right hander, I found limiting my track out to around the middle of the track worked best. The next section could be described as a long chicane, it's a quick right left right. The left hander following, is faster than it appears at first. This leads into a short straight then a very late apex 90 deg left hander leading back onto the front straight. The distances between turns are short so it makes passing difficult. The founding member that invited me out, was driving my RM1 and for me to get around him in the twisty section would've been risky even with the power difference of the shifter. Altough the track is not very challenging because the layout is simple, it is fun to drive and fast. At present it is approx 0.4 mls long but they are planning to add 2 more sections. Section 2 will bring the total length to just over 1/2 ml (0.6) and when all three are completed, the total length will be just under a mile. I was not given a timeline for the additions but I hope it's soon. I understand there are approx 10 RM1's owned by members and a few more are picking up the new CRG/DD2's. There are also a few 125 shifters. There are no immediate plans to entertain any sanctioning bodies, WKA, Stars etc at this time but it has not been ruled out.
