Does burning off excess rubber off your tires give u advantages on starts? For HPV and YAMAHA!!!!

It might in KPV or the other classes where you don't get a full warm up lap. In TAG or shifters you can easily clean the tires up in that one lap.
But, unless it is really bad, I don't think it would be a big problem in those classes with minimal warm up lap.

I don't worry about it for any class except Kid Kart. They aren't fast enough to ever get the tires clean.

I dont know about that seeing your not allowd to scrub your tires on the pace laps. Thats why you learn to drive on cold tires. Which i have not yet learned to well.:grinyes:

There are ways to scrub them without actually "Scrubbing them" Just stay behind the guy in front of you and go into the oval turn hard ! It will scrub some heat into them.
