Dave L: wrenching on FF2000's
Tonis K: racing one
Rick B: in a IMSA Prototype Light (L2) Rick is a professional driver nowr now and I have his autograph. That said his shifter sucks but he overcame it to win on Sunday
Taylor TZ in his VW Cup ride
Ashley F: in the Skip Barber National Series. Got spun out of the lead Saturday and nipped at the line for 4th on Sunday
And the drive if the weekend.. Luigi B. running the 52 car in Skip Barber's National Series. It was the 14 year old's 1st National Series and he drove like a seasoned driver. In race #1 (Saturday) he qualified 5th stayed out of the trouble caused when some idiot made a bonsai move into 5 (taking out Ashley) actually leading a couple laps (at 5): He finished the race in 7th after getting schooled by the National drivers between 7 and 8. On Sunday he qualified 7th and dropped dropped back a spot on lap 1. For the next couple laps there was a pack of 6 running up front a gap to 7/8 and another gap to the rest of the field. Luigi wisely hooked up with the 7th place driver and they drafted their way up to to lead pack. If I remember the last lap correctly... At 5 and into 6 Ashley was 4th with Luigi right on her tail, when the leaders popped into my view again at 13 Ashley was a car length or two ahead (still 4th). the gap was consistent through 14 and up the hill then Luigi drafted by taking 4th by "a nose".

Awesome job Luigi! Thanks for the detailed commentary Mark. I assume you were working on one of the safety crews at the time?
