2007 Membership will be available from 01/01/2007 -- 06/15/2007
SCHEDULE
The 2007 schedule officially begins retroactive October 1, 2006 and runs through July 23rd, 2007.
LOCAL SERIES
Each Local Series will be allocated a set # of drivers in each class that can qualify to the Grand National.
-A Local Series will use its own method to qualify drivers to the Grand National.
GRAND REGIONALS
There will be no Grand Regional events in 2007
GRAND NATIONAL QUALIFYING
-Competitors are required to have a Rotax License to qualify for the Grand Nationals
-2007 Membership is required to qualify for Grand National at designated Local Series
-2007 Membership is required to compete at Grand National
-2007 Membership is required to qualify to World Finals
-Competitor may only qualify through designated Local Series as specified on Membership Form
GRAND NATIONAL TENTATIVE DATES
The tentative date for the 2007 Grand National is August 12-18. We will announce venue shortly.
AWARDS BANQUET
An Awards Banquet will be held Saturday evening following Grand National competition recognizing:
-Podium Finishers from the 2007 Grand National
-2006 America's Team / Top American from 2006 World Finals
-Top Local Series in the Country
-Local Series Champions
-ChampCar Test Drive Award Winner
WORLD FINAL QUALIFYING
-Champions from all classes will qualify for a full paid trip to the 2007 ROTAX World Finals (MiniMax Champion will not compete). Full Paid Trip includes airfare, hotel, entry fee and kart rental fee. Other drivers will qualify with various expense packages, details will be announced.
-2007 Rotax World Finals will be held in Dubai in Nov - Dec
2008 SEASON
The 2008 season will begin September 1st, 2007.
