DD2 changed spec tire to Bridgestone.
After being granted permission from the Rotax Kart Center in Austria the Champ Car Rotax Kart Challenge is excited to announce the 2007 Rotax Grand National DD2 Class will run on Bridgestone YJB tires instead of the Mojo D1. The other four classes: Mini Max, Jr. Max, Sr. Max and Master will remain on the Mojo D1 tire.
Champ Car Rotax Officials feel the Bridgestone YJB tire is a better match for the power and performance of the DD2 engine package. "With the change to Bridgestone YJB tires the DD2 competitors will have the opportunity to get the most out of the chassis and motor package," states Joe Ramos Jr. -- Program Director.
