Hi Rick,

I have entered the event for next year and set up a team called Chicago Racers with 4 open slots available:

The format looks more appealing to me this year. Instead of running four 30 minute qualifiers over two days, you run three 1 hour qualifiers over three days. The top 25 advance to the 1.5 hour final.

It's starting to look like we will have a very strong team this year!

The following drivers will be going:

Peter J
Rick A
Chris L
Elliot F
Reed - Team Manager

Are Martin and Dave going to join us?! :)

Well I raced last Sunday at the F1 Race Fatory. I don't know but they must have known I was coming because their top proscore guy was in my first race. He was a whole second faster than me. The second race he wasn't racing and I knock off 2 tenths of my time. The racing is a little different than CIR the karts seem to slide a lot more in the turns.

Peter and Rick did you have to dirt track it in some of the turns last year to go fast? Durning the event do they use both tracks or are they combined?

Also Rick I would like to make Mark happy so you can change my name from mick500 to David Mickelson.

Thanks

The fastest local drivers used a rally style to get through the tight sections. Brazilians and Austrians also drove with greater slip angles in tight turns but they did not do it in as many turns as the "regulars" did. I'm not sure how the regulars did in the competition. The Brazilians and Austrians dominated.

There was one local which I like to call Eminem. Eninem drove with high slip angles through out almost the entire track. He was one of the fastest locals there.
